Contribution of biofilm and Cell Surface Hydrophobicity in the resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from some Healthcare settings of Yaounde

The study shows that biofilm production in Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains from Yaoundé healthcare settings is strongly linked to multidrug resistance, while cell surface hydrophobicity mainly aids adhesion but is not directly associated with resistance, highlighting the need to consider these traits in hospital infection control.
