Cette thèse analyse la crise des systèmes de production paysanne à Madagascar, en particulier dans la région de Beforona, afin d’identifier des stratégies d’adaptation durables. La méthodologie adoptée est une approche de recherche-action participative, combinant enquêtes de terrain, cartographie, expérimentations agricoles et intégration des savoirs locaux et scientifiques. Les résultats mettent en lumière des innovations agroforestières et des pratiques résilientes, offrant des perspectives concrètes pour renforcer la subsistance des ménages ruraux et promouvoir un développement agricole durable.
This thesis analyzes the crisis of peasant production systems in Madagascar, specifically in the Beforona region, to identify sustainable adaptation strategies. The methodology adopted is a participatory action-research approach, combining field surveys, mapping, agricultural experiments, and the integration of local and scientific knowledge. The findings highlight agroforestry innovations and resilient practices, offering concrete perspectives to strengthen rural household livelihoods and promote sustainable agricultural development.
