Rôle de la L1 dans le français du Mali : une étude perceptive

Cette étude examine l’impact de la langue première (L1) sur l’accent en français langue seconde (FLS) au Mali, où le français est langue officielle mais non L1. Elle vise à comprendre comment les locuteurs maliens perçoivent et identifient la L1 de leurs compatriotes à travers leur accent. Une étude perceptive a été menée à Bamako, impliquant 47 locuteurs enregistrés selon le protocole PFC, dont 14 ont été sélectionnés pour des tests d’écoute. Six auditeurs maliens, dont des experts linguistiques, ont évalué des extraits de parole spontanée pour identifier la L1 des locuteurs et justifier leurs perceptions.

This study investigates the impact of the first language (L1) on the accent in French as a second language (FSL) in Mali, where French is an official language but not the L1. It aims to understand how Malian speakers perceive and identify the L1 of their compatriots through their accent. A perceptive study was conducted in Bamako, involving 47 speakers recorded using the PFC protocol, 14 of whom were selected for listening tests. Six Malian listeners, including linguistic experts, evaluated spontaneous speech excerpts to identify the speakers’ L1 and justify their perceptions.
